Pop star Kylie Minogue’s signature fragrance ‘Darling’ makes a comeback with a vegan twist

Kylie Minogue’s signature fragrance has made a comeback, just as her Neighbours character Charlene did in the recent Neighbours finale.

The ageless 54-year-old singer relaunched her Darling Eau de Parfum in the massive US market this week after successfully bringing it back to countries including Australia and the UK earlier this year.

Her publicists say the new version captures the original scent architecture of the original Darling, which was launched to great acclaim in 2006, but with a modern, vegan formula.

It’s described as a “floral fragrance as thrilling as the pop darling who inspired it with playfully luscious top notes of passionfruit, freesia and lychee, a soaring floral heart of lily and boronia flower and a warm, lingering dry down of sandalwood, amber wood and vanilla”.

Stephen Mormoris, chief executive of online retailer Scent Beauty Inc, which is selling the perfume along with other key retailers in the US, said it was a timeless scent inspired by a timeless beauty.

“We are thrilled to be re-releasing this classic with a modern twist into the market,” he said.

Kylie remarked: “Darling holds a very special place in my heart. It is such a joy to share this beautiful scent with my fans once more.”
