Santa Maria Mayor Cindy Carolino lauds two farms for being certified organic

Santa Maria now has more sources of organic food.

The Coco-a Vanilla Farm of Jane Ison and Sweet Nature Farm of Sweet Sales have been certified as organic farms.

Santa Maria Mayor Cindy Carolino congratulated the owners for this recognition and said she hopes there would be more farms like theirs.

“Hangad natin na mas marami pang tulad ninyo na magpursige para magkaron tayo ng mga pagkaing di kailangang gamitan ng mga synthetic fertilizers n pesticides na alam nating nakakasama sa kalikasan at kalusugan,” Carolino said.

She also expressed her admiration for their dedication.

Santa Maria is proud of them, she added.
